ABOUT THE TUTORS
Meet Your Tutor

Hi, I’m Paige - the founder of Learning Nest.
I’m a high school student, tutor, and small business owner with a huge passion for teaching, learning, and helping children build confidence in themselves.
I started Learning Nest because I saw how many students struggle not because they aren’t capable, but because they simply haven’t been taught in ways that match how they learn best. I wanted to create tutoring that feels encouraging, interactive, and genuinely enjoyable.
As both a student and tutor myself, I understand how important it is for children to feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and learning at their own pace. I aim to create sessions that feel supportive, motivating, and personalised to every student.
I’ve always loved learning, problem-solving, and exploring how things work.
Outside of tutoring, I have a strong interest in:
-
Engineering
-
Science
-
Innovation
-
Creativity
-
Design and problem-solving
I love bringing that curiosity and enthusiasm into my teaching by helping students explore ideas creatively and think confidently.
My Passion for Learning
My Teaching Style
My teaching style focuses on making learning:
-
Interactive
-
Confidence-building
-
Creative
-
Calm and supportive
-
Structured but engaging
I adapt sessions to each student’s learning style, strengths, pace, and interests because every child learns differently.
Some students learn best visually, some through repetition, discussion, movement, or hands-on activities - and lessons are designed to meet students where they are.
Students at Learning Nest can expect sessions that combine:
-
Academic support
-
Interactive activities
-
Real-world projects
-
Revision and retrieval practice
-
Gamified learning tools
-
Encouragement and confidence-building
The goal is always to help students feel successful while developing independence and a genuine enjoyment of learning.
What Students Can Expect
Supporting More Than Academics
At Learning Nest, tutoring is about more than improving school results.
It’s about helping students:
-
Build confidence
-
Feel proud of their progress
-
Develop resilience
-
Learn how to approach challenges positively
-
Become independent learners
Because when children believe they are capable, they are far more likely to stay motivated and continue growing.
