Learning Nest is a tutoring and academic support business designed to help primary school students grow in confidence, curiosity, and academic ability.

The goal of Learning Nest is not simply to improve marks at school, but to help children develop positive relationships with learning that last long beyond the classroom.

​

Learning Nest combines personalised tutoring, interactive teaching strategies, project-based learning, revision systems, and engaging educational tools to create calm, supportive learning experiences that help students feel capable and motivated.

Our Services

Learning Nest currently offers two tutoring options to support different student needs and family schedules.

 

​Private Tutoring

 

Private tutoring sessions are available through booking and provide personalised one-on-one support tailored to each student’s:

  • Learning needs

  • School curriculum

  • Confidence level

  • Goals and interests

  • Learning pace and style​

 

These sessions allow targeted support, extension work, intervention, homework assistance, and customised learning plans.

Group Tutoring Classes

Learning Nest also offers small-group tutoring classes held weekly on Zoom.

​

Classes are split into:

  • Junior Sessions (earlier sessions)

  • Senior Sessions (later sessions)

​

Group sessions provide a collaborative environment where students can strengthen academic skills while building confidence and independence alongside peers.

 
Group classes cover:

  • Mathematics

  • English / Reading

  • Writing & Grammar

  • Homework Support

  • Study Skills & Organisation

  • Extension & Enrichment

That’s why Learning Nest lessons are designed to combine structure with creativity, helping students stay engaged while strengthening long-term understanding.

  • Creative research and presentation projects

These projects help children build creativity, resilience, communication skills, and confidence while applying what they learn in authentic ways.

Tangible Long-Term Projects

Alongside interactive learning, students complete:

  • Guided workbook activities​

  • Skill-based practice questions

  • Revision exercises

This strengthens core understanding, accuracy, and fluency in key academic areas.

Structured Book-Work & Practice Questions

Learning Nest believes education should create opportunities for all children.

That’s why a portion of all revenue is donated to The Smith Family to help sponsor the education of Australian children experiencing disadvantage.

​

Every session supports not only the student attending, but also helps another child access educational opportunities and support.
